Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (.NET/React) (vPOS Control)

Here at Retail inMotion we are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer who
will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud based (AWS) full
stack systems/micro services using C#, .NET Core/Standard for backend,
SQL and MongoDB as data storage and TypeScript/React.JS for frontend.

How you will make a difference:

  • Maintaining and developing full stack applications hosted on
    Kubernetes containers on AWS using the new modern technologies
    using Web APIs, Kafka, SQL Server, and MongoDB as back-end and
    Node.js, TypeScript as React.js as front-end with proficient code
    quality including all the required unit and integration testing;
  • The mindset and maturity to contribute to the initial phases of new
    projects including the architecture design and technical decisions with
    the rest of the team members;
  • Providing excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills;
  • Using your initiative on watching the backlog and resolving tickets
    in a timely manner;
  • Effective handing of assigned bugs/change requests;
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to take ownership of a project and
    see it through to completion;
  • Support the team in the current migration of a legacy monolithic
    system to a micro services-based/Multi-Tenant solution;
  • Develop your knowledge with the end goal of contributing to the
    entire development lifecycle from initial concept creation through to
    planning, implementation, QA and assisting product support teams.
    The aim is to produce well designed, properly structured, high
    quality and high-performing software on schedule;
  • Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail;
  • Strong documentation skills;
  • Being social member with your teammates and with the cross
    functional teams;
  • Strong couching skills to guide/support the Junior developers in the
    team.

Essentials:

  • Strong knowledge of .NET Core/Standard
  • Proficient in C#/OOP/Design Patterns
  • Proficient in writing complex Web API with .NET Core/Standard with DI (Dependency Injection)
  • Proficient in OpenAPI (e.g. Swagger)
  • Proficient in memory caching systems/API (especially Redis Cache)
  • Proficient in Event Driven Programming and ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) tools (especially Kafka)
  • Proficient in SQL [DQL/DML/DDL]
  • Proficient in NoSQL (Especially MongoDB)
  • Proficient in Front-End programming using Node.JS, Webpacks, NPM/Yarn, JavaScript, TypeScript,
    React.JS (Using the modern Function Components), Jest and Redux.
  • Experience in implementing unit tests/integration tests and data mocking for both backend APIs
    and frontend (APIs, Functions and DOM/React.Js components)
  • Strong understanding for Scrum/Kanban for backlog dashboards/management tools (Especially Jira)
  • Working in previous teams managed by the Agile/Scrum framework including sprint planning, refinement, retro, etc.
  • Proficient in source code management using GIT (E.g., Bitbucket, GitLab, etc.) and the automated CI/SDLC life cycle.

Nice to have:

  • Further front-end skills with Node.js like Nvm, Express.js and Next.JS
  • Experience in Domain Driven Design, CQRS, Event Streaming and Microservices
  • Experience of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (Jenkins/Octopus)
  • Experience Docker/Kubernetes
  • Experience in Pair Programming
  • Experience in TDD, DDD, and BDD
